Levels of Authentication

Levels of Authentication

This term is used to describe the technology standard established to pinpoint the true identity of an email sender. Authentication verifies that a computer server, IP address and/or sender is authorized to send email from a specific domain. There are two levels of authentication: IP-level at the domain level, and Cryptographic at the message level.
