Full Service Provider

Full Service Provider

Full service Provider, also called an FSP, is an Application Service Provider (ASP) that markets and provides a wide range of services to other companies. As the term indicates, an FSP aims to cover all of its clients’ web-based information technology needs. Often, full-service providers can offer: website development services, email and newsletter solutions, web brochures, site management tools, tracking tools and e-commerce solutions. Some FSPs may take their role further and offer planning and creating their client’s web presence, creating or providing software applications, hosting or even maintaining a website.

Full-service providers aim to meet every client need.  Their goal is to allow client companies to outsource as many of their web-based needs as possible — and typically take advantage of this by consolidating all outsource needs into the clients account rather than sending them to other vendors. Because FSPs offer the full array of solutions, much of their work is easily integrated with all applications or functions, and there is no need to worry about compatibility problems. Projects are also easier to coordinate as companies and site owners only have to communicate with a single vendor who is responsible for every outsourced aspect of the project.
