Email Certification

Email Certification

Email Certification is a white-listing technique that is used by a company or organization who sends out a large volume of email newsletter marketing emails. Certified email is granted special permissions unlike un-certified regular emails; these are particularly helpful for senders who contact a large base of clients regularly. Internet service providers allow certified email messages to bypass spam filters when they are sent to subscribers. Senders must pay a fee to certify their mail. However, this fee ensures that senders’ messages will reach their intended recipients without being blocked by spam filters, or without having images and links that are critical to their marketing messages removed from the transmission.

Certified email grants some peace of mind to both email marketers and the recipients of these communications. Marketers can be sure that their efforts are not being blocked. This means that they are seeing the true returns of their transmissions and campaigns. With accurate results, marketers can be sure that any changes that they make to their campaigns influence subscriber behavior, rather than spam blockers. Subscribers can also be more trusting of certified messages. Email certification proves to customers that the email is not a forged phishing attempt and their transactions will be safe.
